The Bihar Government delivers online verification for Domicile Certificates through the ServicePlus / RTPS portal at https://serviceonline.bihar.gov.in/. The Domicile Certificate is a government-issued document issued as proof of permanent residence within the State / UT, used for state-quota in education and employment, scholarships, and resident-only welfare schemes. Citizens, employers, educational institutions, scholarship boards and government recruiters verify the authenticity of any Domicile Certificate issued in Bihar by entering the application reference number, holder's name and date of issue. The verifier page returns issuance status, holder demographic data and the certificate's validity period. The service is integrated with the State CSC network so applications, downloads and physical print outs are available at every Common Service Centre across the State. Authentication is also possible via the QR code printed on each digitally-signed certificate.
