Our mission
Government recruitment in India is published across hundreds of different portals — UPSC, SSC, IBPS, RRB, state public-service commissions, individual ministries, defence boards, and more. The information is public, but it is fragmented, inconsistently structured, and hard to compare. Saarkaari exists to consolidate that information into one place so applicants can find every active notification, result, admit card, syllabus, and answer key relevant to them without having to visit a dozen websites.
What we do differently
- Structured data, not links. Every notification is normalized into a consistent schema — eligibility, vacancy counts, fees, dates, exam pattern — so you can compare two posts side by side instead of reading two PDFs.
- Cycle history. For each recurring exam we track previous cycles’ vacancies, applicant counts, and fees. The post detail page renders that as charts so you can see year-over-year trends at a glance.
- Smart status tags. A post is shown as live, upcoming, released, or expiring based on the real dates on the notification — not on when we wrote about it. The same post can carry different tags in different sections (e.g. live by result date, upcoming by admit-card date) so the page accurately reflects the section you are viewing.
- Always linked to the source. Every post links back to the official notification PDF and the issuing portal, listed prominently under "Direct Links". The official notification is the only authoritative record; we are an aggregator, not the government. See our Disclaimer for the full statement.
- No paid placements. Posts are not promoted in exchange for money. Sort order is driven by the date proximity to today, not commercial relationships.
Where the data comes from
Our data pipeline reads publicly available government recruitment portals — primarily official notification PDFs and the recruitment / careers section of each issuing authority’s own website. We extract the recurring fields (eligibility, dates, fee, vacancy, links), validate them against a strict schema, and store them. A separate review step keeps a human in the loop for posts that look anomalous before they go live.
We do not conduct examinations, sell answer keys, sell question papers, accept application fees, issue admit cards, or guarantee selection. We never ask users to pay for government recruitment, and we never sell personal data.
Who we serve
Aspirants for central- and state-government positions across India: clerks, constables, officers, teachers, technical and non-technical roles. Whether you are tracking a specific exam or scanning for opportunities by state, sector, or stage, you can navigate from the home page through any of the sections — Latest Job, Result, Admit Card, Answer Key, Syllabus, Certificate Verification, Admission, and Important.
