The Andaman & Nicobar Islands Government delivers online verification for Residence / Nativity Certificates through the e-District Andaman portal at https://edistrict.andaman.gov.in/. The Residence / Nativity Certificate is a government-issued document issued as proof of long-term residence or nativity, used for educational quotas, scholarships and recruitment to state-cadre services. Citizens, employers, educational institutions, scholarship boards and government recruiters verify the authenticity of any Residence / Nativity Certificate issued in Andaman & Nicobar Islands by entering the application reference number, holder's name and date of issue. The verifier page returns issuance status, holder demographic data and the certificate's validity period. The service is integrated with the State CSC network so applications, downloads and physical print outs are available at every Common Service Centre across the State. Authentication is also possible via the QR code printed on each digitally-signed certificate.
